Avoid exfoliating or using strong retinoids 48–72 hours before your visit, and come with clean, makeup-free skin. Hair should be about 1/4 inch long for best results. Tell your esthetician about recent treatments or medications.

Apply calming serums or aloe gel, avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy makeup, and direct sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Use SPF daily and avoid harsh products for several days.
